During student years many people are finding their true love and start to have different perception on their relationship. In a mean time they start to think more maturely and inevitably the conversation ends on proposals for moving in together. But how easy is living together?
The new research results show that when young couples start to live together they also start to have difficulties with their own shared finances. There are many couples who are together within years, living together in an apartment, having regular sex but they don’t share same bank account.
Therefore this data shows that young couples doesn’t have issues with their living together but the problem lies in sharing same finances.
Almost 58% of examiners bring up that they don’t want to share their money with their partner, while only 21% agreed to have shared account.
Servis First Direct, the institution that monitored the research, published data explaining that the situation before four years was different: the shared money was the key for successful relationship.
“Living together is interesting step, but in these situations the brain must be included also, not only the heart. The couples started to think about it and that’s good. Unfortunately, disorders are included everyday and the finances are becoming the biggest issue” says Richard Tolchard.
That’s why most of young people nowadays avoid borrowing from their partner. Actually the borrowing market is far more developed than before and finances are easy acquired in a form of payday loans, cash advances, credits and credit cards.
